Gates open at 08:00 on both Saturday and Sunday. The flying display programme begins at approximately 10:00 and concludes around 17:30 each day. Static exhibitions and ground attractions are available throughout the day. We recommend arriving early to avoid traffic queues and secure good viewing positions.
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic and non-alcoholic beverages. However, glass bottles are strictly prohibited for safety reasons. We also have a wide range of food vendors and refreshment stalls on site offering everything from street food to sit-down meals. Alcoholic drinks purchased on site must be consumed within designated licensed areas.
Registered assistance dogs are always welcome. For all other dogs, we ask that they be kept on a short lead at all times. Please be aware that loud aircraft noise may cause distress to animals, and there are no dedicated dog facilities on site. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
The airshow is an all-weather event and will go ahead rain or shine. Flying displays may be temporarily paused or adjusted during heavy rain or low cloud for safety reasons, but our pilots and ground crew are experienced in operating in variable conditions. We recommend bringing waterproof clothing and suitable footwear, as some areas of the showground may become muddy in wet weather.
Children under 5 years of age enter free of charge and do not require a ticket. Children aged 5 to 15 must hold a valid child ticket, which is included in the Family Pass or available separately at a reduced rate. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Ticket upgrades to the VIP Enclosure are available on the day of the event, subject to availability, at the Box Office located near the main entrance. Upgrades must be paid in full at the prevailing on-the-day rate. We cannot guarantee upgrade availability, so we recommend booking VIP tickets in advance if you prefer premium hospitality.
Yes, we have dedicated Blue Badge parking areas located close to the main entrances. The showground is largely flat and accessible by wheelchair, with viewing mounds designed with ramps. We also provide accessible toilet facilities throughout the site. If you have specific mobility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.
The nearest train station is Lincoln Central, approximately 6 miles from the airbase. We operate a dedicated shuttle bus service from Lincoln Central Station to the showground on both days of the event. Shuttle tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day. Local taxi services and ride-sharing options are also available from Lincoln city centre.
