For customers who would like to make their Air Show experience truly memorable, the Air Show has again joined up with two beautiful Lincolnshire-based hotels to offer attractive VIP-style packages comprising of an overnight stay, a return transfer to the Air Show by a JetRanger helicopter (approximate times 8.30am for the departure and 5.30pm for the return flight) and an exclusive hospitality day out in the Lord Trenchard Pavilion/Bomber Harris Chalet.
VIP Experience “EXPLORE”
The Air Show has again joined with the Stoke Rochord Hall hotel *** nr Grantham to offer a superb VIP-style package. You will arrive on Friday 29 June for an overnight stay at this beautiful hotel which was once the headquarters of the Second Battalion of the Parachute Regiment, used as a planning base for the ill-fated Arnhem ‘drop’ of 1944. The hotel grounds are also a crash site of a Lancaster bomber from 1653 Heavy Conversion Unit (training) squadron. The Site Manager will be on hand to offer you a personal tour through the hotel and the near-by memorials. Whilst this hotel is only minutes from the A1, you will be amazed how tranquille this place feels! You will enjoy the luxury of staying in one of the spacious Mansion rooms.
A LongRanger/JetRanger helicopter operated by Elite Helicopters will collect you and your guests on Saturday 30 June (approx 0830) and transport you to the Bomber Harris Chalet/Lord Trenchard Pavilion. Both marquees are situated in the VIP area of the Air Show, in the very centre of the flying display. The aircraft will collect you from the VIP area once they have received the ‘all-clear’ from the ATC (usually 1730) and transport you back to the hotel. The Air Show offers preferential rates should you wish to stay another night – please do not hesitate to contact me with regards to this.
VIP Experience “INDULGE”
Set amongst over 475 acres of Lincolnshire countryside, it’s not your usual setting for the very latest business technology and leisure facilities! The beutiful lakeside De Vere Belton Woods hotel **** in Grantham offers an escape from life’s pressures with some wonderful activities from a spot of croquet, to quad-biking or simply a ‘Walk with a Hawk’. The Serenity spa, beautiful pool, marble en-suite bathrooms... and then there’s the golf, not any golf course but PGA championship approved no less. Your will stay in an Executive Room - spacious and with those little luxuries that surprise and delight, and with striking views over the golf course.
A cheauffer-driven courtesy car will collect you and your guests to transport you to the near-by helicopter site. Again, a LongRanger/JetRanger helicopter operated by Elite Helicopters will collect you and your guests and transport you straight into the VIP area of the Air Show, for a hospitality day in the Bomber Harris Chalet or Lord Trenchard Pavilion, and collect you after the day. Again, the Air Show offers preferential rates should you wish to stay another night at the hotel.
The packages are priced at £465pp for the Bomber Harris Chalet option or £530pp for the Lord Trenchard Pavilion option. Reservations can be made through the undersigned on +441522 727011. Prices are based on a double room accommodation (occupancy 2 people). Package includes free parking at the hotel. Should the helicopter shuttle service not be available due to adverse weather conditions or other unforseeable circumstances you and your guests will access the Air Show via the VIP “Red” Route with a special vehicle pass; your helicopter shuttle service fee will be refunded in full. In the unlikely event of the event being cancelled, we will refund the Air Show hospitality package and the helicopter shuttle service fee. The participating hotels operate their own cancellation terms and we would therefore encourge for customers to take up travel insurance to cover any potential cancellation fees, as we are unable to process any refunds in respect to this service.
