Trade Show Layout
There is always an overwhelming demand for trade space so you are strongly advised to return your application promptly to avoid disappointment. Refer to the Site Map to see the show layout. The central prime sites in particular are booked very quickly and pitches are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Regulations and Insurance
It is suggested that you print off and retain a copy of Regulations for Traders, which lay down specific items that are prohibited from sale. Traders failing to comply with these conditions will be prevented from trading further and will forfeit the full site fee. Lincolnshire County Council Trading Standards Division will be monitoring all traders’ activities. Please also note Paragraph 4 entitled “Insurance Requirements” which stipulates that you should have third party indemnity of at least £5,000,000. A copy of proof of your insurance must be supplied by email, fax or post.
Risk Assessment
All traders must complete a simple Fire Risk Assessment and General Risk Assessment and return the completed forms by email.
Overnight Accommodation
Traders who register their intention to remain on site overnight should be aware that, although toilets are provided, there are no shower facilities available, and it must be remembered that permission to sleep on site is a concession that, in the current security climate, could be removed summarily. Everyone wishing to remain overnight must inform Trade Reception on arrival and must complete a Fire Risk Assessment form covering the sleeping accommodation used.
End of Show Departure
To avoid traffic congestion after the Show on Sunday, traders are required to leave no earlier than 7.30pm. The Main Guardroom exit route will be closed until 7.30pm on Sunday and traders attempting to leave early will be directed to a special holding area until released.
