Return Flights for patrons of the "Lord Trenchard Pavilion", "Bomber Harris Chalet" and "Silver Wings Enclosure", operated by Elite Helicopters.
AVOID THE QUEUES! Why not take a shuttle flight into the Air Show from Newark Air Museum, just off the A46. The aircraft will drop you off immediately in front of your private enclosure. Departure times from Newark are between 8.15am and 9.15am, with return flights leaving RAF Waddington immediately after the flying display finishes (typically 5.45pm onwards).
The return flight costs £145 per Adult and £125 per Child (2-15 yrs). Helicopter flights must be booked in advance through the Air Show Office. If you wish to reserve seats, please contact the Reservations Manager, Katerina Greenlaw on tel. 01522 727011.
General Public Helicopter Shuttle Service
If you wish to fly into the Air Show on general admission, this can also be arranged. You will be dropped off and then collected from the pleasure flying site, north of the airfield. You can reserve your places through the the Reservations Manager, Katerina Greenlaw on tel. 01522 727011.
The air fare does not include admission to the show and you must remember to book advance admission tickets for each person travelling. In the unlikely event that the helicopters cannot fly due to inclement weather, your entrance tickets will enable you to drive to the show (your helicopter fare will be refunded in full).
Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult and all children must occupy a seat with a seatbelt. Children under 2 years of age can be only flown by prior arrangement with the Air Show Office.
