The Ice Cream concession has been let for 2012 and all sites have been booked already.
topIs there any difference in the Saturday and Sunday flying display?
No. There might be slight differences in the flying programme (i.e. order of flying displays) but the same aircraft will display on both days of the Air Show.
topI am a member/ex-member of the Forces.
Can I get a discount on the ticket price?
No. The RAF Waddington International Air Show is self funding with no costs falling to the MOD. This includes the need to pay for RAF aircraft visiting the show and the provision of insurance for all service personnel and service vehicles used in support of the air show. In recognition of the work undertaken by all Service and Civilian personnel who work on the air show week-end, we provide a number of free adult and child tickets as required. We are unable to offer any further discounts to non-working Armed Forces personnel other than the discounted advance tickets, available to the general public.
topCan you tell me what the weather forecast is for the Air Show weekend?
The Air Show Office does not give weather forecast advice; however, you might wish to visit a weather forecast website such as www.bbc.co.uk/weather and enter Waddington in the search or take a look at the met office east midlands site http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/em/em_forecast_weather.html
topI have purchased tickets for the Air Show
but I can't make it to the event now. Can I get a refund?
Normally we do not refund monies for purchased tickets/enclosure places. Please click here to read our full refunds policy.
topWhat time does the event start?
The gates will open at 8am and the flying display will start at approx 10am. Please remember that the Air Show is a major event and traffic delays are very likely. Generally, the peak traffic is between 9.30 and 11am. Visitors should time their arrival to avoid this extremely busy period. Visitors arriving before opening time will be directed to off-site contingency parking.

Cadets and staff from 2357 (Goole) Squadron, Air Training Corps, will be in attendance. This enclosure is available to registered disabled persons & their carers only. Please read here for further information on the Enclosure and details on how to reserve places.

topWhat is the Air Show postcode for my GPS (SatNav)?
Please follow the directions to Waddington, Lincoln. Once within the vicinity of the area, the Police will be directing traffic to the Air Show. There is a specific traffic plan established for the Air Show weekend and visitors are strongly advised not to follow their GPS (SatNav) devices as this will considerably prolong their journey to the base.
topCan I bring my classic vehicle for the Vintage Car Display?
Yes. You will need to apply for your exhibition space. The application form will be available here: http://www.waddingtonairshow.co.uk/classic-car-exhibition. Apply early as space is at a premium.
topCan I fly to Waddington in my private aircraft?
Due to the operational requirements & limited aircraft parking facilities of RAF Waddington we regret that we cannot accept general aviation /private flights into the Air Show.
