At RAF Waddington International Air Show, guests with disabilities can enjoy the magic, excitement and adventure in the same conditions as all our visitors. To ensure you have a pleasant, well-organised stay at the Air Show, here is some information on the facilities and services designated for disabled visitors.
Travel Information & Parking
Disabled visitors travelling by car from the North (through Lincoln) should follow the signs to the Air Show on the A607 and enter via the blue gate (Sentry gate). You will then be directed into the main Blue Badge Car Park.
Arriving from the East – You will be directed onto the A15 and then into the main Blue Badge Car Park.
Arriving from the South (along the A607) – You will be directed onto the B1202 to join the A15 and then enter the Airfield via the Orange Car Park and into the main Blue Badge Car Park.
Arriving from the West – Follow Station Road onto the A607 where you will turn left (all other traffic will turn right) towards Waddington village. You will then be directed down Mere Road and onto the Airfield via the green gate and directed to park on the short grass in front of the AWC. For those who have booked mobility scooters, there will be transport to the mobility stand.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOU MUST CLEARLY DISPLAY YOUR BLUE BADGE OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT BE PARKED IN THE CORRECT PLACE.
Getting Around
Air Show attractions have access for disabled visitors wherever possible. We are served by Fair Mobility who make available for hire, up to 80 powered scooters at £20 per day and wheelchairs at £10 per day. We hope that your day's enjoyment will be enhanced by the independence that these machines can offer. More information on advance bookings can be accessed here. Please remember that the airfield and car park areas are green field sites and the ground may be uneven.
Fair Mobility can be found at the show on the opposite side of the taxiway from the Douglas Bader Enclosure for disabled visitors. It is advisable to book your scooter in advance of the show as demand will be high.
Phone the Fair Mobility booking line on 01949 845189 or e-mail them at info@fair-mobility.org.uk to check availability of scooters first.
Toilets
There are several toilets for disabled visitors throughout the Air Show. Exact locations are highlighted on the Air Show map.

Assistance dogs are welcome within the Air Show. Please note that no other animals are allowed to the show.
